Junior Sylvia Whittaker-Traw is organizing a gift drive for the residents of Danridge's Burgundi Manor, a local nursing home. The drive ends Monday December 21. Many of these residents are unable to see their loved ones, if they have any, this Christmas season. My hope is that this gift drive will help brighten their holiday. The gift drop-off box is located in the high school foyer. Ideas for donation items are as follows:
-Blankets
-Body wash
-Body spray
-Snack items/candies
-Puzzles/Puzzle books
-Lotion
-Hair creams
-Monetary donations to go towards purchasing above items
Please try to help out and donate a gift, which will make a senior citizen’s day brighter!
If you missed the CCP meeting earlier this year, you can watch the meeting by clicking on the link below. Only users with a Weathersfield Local email address will have access to the video!
